Shift Happens privacy policy

Shift Happens is Ticket Lab Inc.'s private workforce system. This policy explains what information the web platform and employee mobile app process, why it is needed, and the controls available to workers and workspace administrators.

Effective August 19, 2026

Information we process

  • Account and profile details such as name, work email, phone number, profile photo, role, team, and account status.
  • Work records such as schedules, clock and break events, timesheets, requests, approvals, pay-review information, and audit history.
  • Clock evidence such as a camera photo, precise location, location accuracy, and basic device details only when the employee's configured clock policy requires them.
  • Private workforce documents, including employee-specific tax or pay documents that an authorized administrator publishes to the employee.
  • Security and diagnostic information needed to authenticate sessions, enforce access limits, investigate failures, and protect the service.

How information is used

We use this information to provide scheduling, attendance, clock verification, workforce requests, payroll review, employee documents, account security, and legally required business recordkeeping. Shift Happens does not sell personal information and does not use workforce information for advertising or cross-app tracking.

Location and camera controls

The app requests foreground location or camera access when a configured clock action needs that evidence. V1 does not silently collect background location. Denying a required permission may prevent that clock action; the app explains the relevant recovery option.

Storage, access, and protection

Information is stored in Ticket Lab Inc.-controlled systems. Access is limited by workspace role and employee identity. Private uploaded files are delivered only through authenticated endpoints, and sensitive employee documents are encrypted in application storage. Authorized managers and administrators can access only the operational information permitted by their role and team scope.

Retention and employee choices

Workforce records are retained while needed for employment operations, payroll, tax, security, dispute resolution, and applicable legal obligations. Employees can request access, correction, or deletion through their workspace Owner or Administrator. Some time, pay, tax, and audit records may need to be retained even after access is deactivated.

For privacy questions or requests, contact office@broadwaypass.com. Include your name, work email, and employer/workspace so the request can be verified without sending passwords, PINs, tax identifiers, or document copies by email.
